About Miguel Leon Yepez
LG Roofing was founded by Miguel Leon Yepez, who has worked in the roofing industry since 1990. His roofing career began with Davey Roofing Company, one of the largest production roofing companies in California, where he worked as a roofing installer. Through years of hands-on field experience and dedication to quality workmanship, Miguel advanced into leadership positions and developed extensive knowledge across residential roofing systems, customer service, inspections, repairs, and project management.
In 1993, Miguel was promoted to Foreman, taking on additional responsibilities related to crew management and roofing operations. Later, after the company transitioned into DRI Roofing, he continued growing within the industry by serving as a Customer Service Technician from 1995 through 2011. During this time, he gained valuable experience working directly with homeowners, evaluating roofing issues, and helping resolve service-related concerns across a wide range of roofing systems.
Although Miguel briefly worked outside the roofing industry between 2011 and 2016 in logistics and building maintenance management, roofing remained his long-term professional focus. In 2016, he returned to the roofing field as a Customer Service Manager for Petersen Dean Roofing Inc., where he continued expanding his knowledge of residential roofing operations and customer support.
After decades of industry experience, Miguel earned both his Contractors CSLB General-B Contracting License and CSLB C-39 Roofing Contractor’s License. With years of practical roofing knowledge and leadership experience behind him, he launched Leon Groundbreaking Construction, DBA LG Roofing, with a focus on helping homeowners address roofing concerns with organized communication and dependable workmanship.
Today, Miguel continues leading LG Roofing with a strong emphasis on physical inspections, detailed project documentation, and long-term customer support. His background includes work involving reroofs, roof repairs, custom homes, HOA projects, and resolving roofing concerns when original contractors are no longer available.
